So, today I am officially beginning potty training. Ava finally seems to be ready to sit on the potty. I have been really dreading this because it seems very overwhelming, but I know that it eventually needs to be done. No time like the present!

I bought the Baby Bjorn potty and I also got her a seat for the toilet. She seems to prefer the potty as opposed to sitting on the big toilet. When I try to put her on the big toilet, she is a bit scared, so I’m sticking with the potty for now.

I also bought “The Potty Book” and DVD for girls. This really seemed to spark her interest to want to use the potty. She really likes the story of Hannah and her potty, so I have been using this potty propaganda to my advantage.
